Kurdish carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), Northwest Persia, circa 1950-1980 181 x 135 cm The rug features a small polychrome central medallion, extended by two pendants on a red background enhanced by a floral design. The whole composition is embellished with four navy-blue spandrels. An ivory border with flower garlands is framed by two counter-borders. Slight wear and tear, slight dripping, fraying.
