HAMMER PRICE: €10 CHARITY SALE IN AID OF "TULIPS AGAINST CANCER" WITH NO BUYER'S CHARGE From one club planting in Falaise in 1988 to 68 clubs in 2025 with over 4,000 volunteers, Lions clubs and other associations are organizing the "Tulips against Cancer" operation in many towns and cities in France, which has already raised over 24 million euros, advancing research, screening and treatment, mainly for children's cancer. In 2003, the Arras Beffroi Lions Club launched its 1st operation, and since then, even in the midst of the Covid crisis in 2020, the 23rd operation took place in April. All the partners, members, club spouses and friends, all volunteers, have already raised almost 400,000 euros, which has been donated nationally (EnfantCancerSanté), regionally (Centre Oscar Lambret in Lille) and locally (Blouses roses, maison Nénuphar, Clowns de l'Espoir, association arrageoise d'hématologie), HEA (pôle sup Baudimont). For several years now, they have been joined by the Bapaume club, the Paix des Dames club in Cambrai, Wellington and Pôle sup Baudimont in Arras.
